All Grayson parents are a part of the Grayson Parent Association (GPA) and are welcome to get involved in our school.
Opportunities to participate in meetings, presentations and events are in our weekly newsletter, or look for emails from your class parents.
The Grayson Parent Association is partnering with Families Forward for our fall school community service project. All families are asked to take part in this great opportunity to give back to local families who are in great need of basic supplies. Please begin collecting and saving supplies from family and friends like new toiletry items (especially travel size) as well as any NEW toys, books, and winter accessories to drop off at school on November 19 and 20. Our K-5 students will be assembling care packages on our Day of Gratitude, November 20.
Contact me anytime or more information or with any questions or suggestions—you will also be hearing from your class parents soon about scheduling class meet-ups and signing up to provide Halloween healthy party snacks!
Support our Troops with Excess Candy
Friday, November 2
We will once again be collecting any excess Halloween candy on Friday, November 2 for Operation Gratitude. Last year, our students donated over 28 pounds of candy for our deployed troops and first responders. Contact Alesha Brophy with any questions. Your child can bring candy to school labeled “ATTN: Alesha Brophy/Operation Gratitude” to school and we’ll collect at drop-off or you can bring it to our parent coffee social at Starbucks that morning!

Immediately preceding the Winter Concert
We’ve heard from many parents that you need to prioritize events you can attend due to work schedules, distance from school, and other personal commitments, so we will try having our GPA meetings the hour before school events. Aftercare activities until 6:00 p.m. with pizza for dinner will be available to order closer to the date.
