Intersectionality, Giftedness, and Cultural Identities
November 5 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Increasing parity and equity in gifted programs requires understanding and collaboration that comes when we look through the lens of others. Join Frank C. Worrell, Ph.D., Professor in the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Berkeley, where he serves as Director of the School Psychology program, Faculty Director of the Academic Talent Development Program, and Faculty Director of the California College Preparatory Academy. We are very proud to have him as a member of our Grayson Research Advisory Board.
Who should attend: parents of gifted students and educators interested in building cultural competence and partnership between parents and schools.
