Reignite the Joy of Reading with My Reads and Recommendations for a Quiet Winter Break

Holidays are an excellent time to reignite enthusiasm for reading. Nothing says “curl up with a book” better than a little frost in the air and the enticement of blankets and a cushy reading spot. Reading is also an ideal way for kids and young adults to take a step back from the hurly-burly rush of the holiday season and carve out some much-needed quiet time.

My 2025 list features over 180 titles spanning graphic novels, historical fiction, timely non-fiction, and captivating fantasy. Whether your child is looking for a quick read by the fireplace or a deep dive into a new subject, I hope that this year’s Bookish Delights will help readers find an ideal literary escape, regardless of age or genre preference.

I encourage you to share this resource with friends and family looking for student reading recommendations. What book will you or your child be curling up with first? Let me know in the comments below!
