The Delaware County IU has released the Reading Olympics 2018-19 book lists. Reading Olympics is a great way to promote reading, boost individual and team building skills, and enjoy reading together with friends. This county-wide event is open to all grade 4-5 (elementary) and grade 6-8 (middle) and 9-12 (upper) school students. The individual teams read a curated selection of books, with a final competition held in the spring. All registered schools will compete in a game show-style celebration of reading hosted by the Penn Delco School District and held at Northley Middle School on April 1,2, and 3, 2019!. Our two 2017-18 teams were small, but mighty in showcasing their love of reading and placed above most other teams in the county.
Whether your child has interest in joining our book club and participating in this fun celebration of reading competition this year, or is just looking for some recommended reading, we are happy to share these lists.
