Ashley Freeborn serves as a assistant teacher for our Pre-K through grade 3 cohorts at Grayson, where she applies her experience in teaching and social-emotional work with children to develop our Lower School learners.
Ms. Freeborn holds a Masters degree in Education with a focus on Learning, Cognition, and Development at Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Education. She earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Temple University.
Ms. Freeborn’s background includes a wide range of roles across many areas of the helping professions, including the Achieving Independence Center of Valley Youth House, where she was involved in life coaching for children in her care. Additionally, she has spent time working as the staff facilitator for Philadelphia County’s Youth Advisory Board and working in counseling and training for a women’s crisis services organization.
