Mia DiMeo teaches Middle School English at Grayson where she encourages her students to be bold — and hopes to learn from them as much as they can learn from her She is always excited to read the interesting arguments and ideas her students express through their writing.

Ms. DiMeo graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bryn Mawr College, receiving an A.B. in English with a minor in Education.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Ms. DiMeo is a self-described “bagel and pizza snob” and really enjoys exploring the Philly area to try a new restaurant. She loves to bake, learning how to decorate cakes at her first job at a Carvel Ice Cream shop (including Fudgie the Whale!). Ms. DiMeo is a fan of puzzles, Jeopardy, and dance parties.
