Sharon Furda

    Sharon Furda is an Administrative Assistant at The Grayson School, where she brings professional experience in the fields of education, public relations, publishing, advertising, and marketing to her role. She has most recently taught Kindergarten and K-prep at Sprout House and Washington Avenue Schools in Chatham, NJ.

    Ms. Furda graduated from Monash University in Australia with a Bachelor of Economics and Minor in Business Administration. She received her NJ State Dept. of Education Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (PK-3) from the College of St. Elizabeth and holds a Professional Teaching Certificate (PK-4) in the Commonwealth of PA.

    Ms. Furda is also a self-taught artist who draws inspiration from nature, culture, and the world around her. Dragonflies have a special place in her heart! She likes to interpret the real world through a whimsical lens. Her current focus is on watercolor and acrylic art, although she enjoys dabbling in all mediums.

    Born in Malaysia, she has lived in Australia, Singapore, the Czech Republic and the UK. She now resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, two sons, and cat.
