Mindfulness Instructor Stacey Mandel is a veteran of best practices in education having both taught and coached teachers for 17 years in urban, suburban, public and private schools in California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Currently, Stacey offers mindfulness instruction to K-12 youth and their caregivers in school, home and community-based settings. Stacey has studied MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and meditation through the Penn Program for Mindfulness and ClearLight Meditation Institute in Wayne, PA. Stacey is a certified facilitator of the “Still Quiet Place” curriculum designed by Dr. Amy Saltzman, Director of the Association for Mindfulness in Education. She is a certified facilitator of the “Mindfulness in Education” curriculum designed by Daniel Rechtschaffen, Founding Director of Mindful Education. Stacey is currently enrolled in Jefferson Hospital Mindfulness Institute’s MBSR Practicum for Professionals.
