Ways to Give
For every type of unique donor to The Grayson School, there are many ways to financially support us. The Grayson School is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization, and we rely on your generous donations to continue our work with gifted learners.
Grateful for Grayson
Our Annual Campaign supports all areas of The Grayson School, from academic programming, arts and athletic activities, to student activities, service learning, leadership programs, tuition assistance, and so much more!
GROW Gala
PA Tax Credit Programs
Pennsylvania EITC and OSTC programs provide need-based scholarships to students who might otherwise be unable to attend our school. Please consider making a Grayson experience possible for more gifted students through these powerful programs.
Get Involved!
There are a multitude of ways for you to get involved: volunteering on a committee, sourcing auction items, being a homeroom parent, taking a leadership role in our Grayson Parents Association (GPA), and supporting Teacher Appreciation efforts to name a few!

Appreciated Securities
Donating appreciated securities is a win-win for donors and charities, as this type of gift typically confers significant tax benefits (please be sure to consult a tax professional regarding your specific legal or tax situation):
- Long-term appreciated securities with unrealized gains may be donated to a public charity, after which the donor can take a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the securities—up to 30% of the donor’s adjusted gross income.
- Since the securities are donated rather than sold, capital gains taxes from selling the securities no longer apply. The more appreciation the securities have, the greater the tax savings may be.
If you would like to make a donation of Appreciated Securities, please contact Kristen, who can help you with your donation.
IRA Distributions
Donors can make a distribution directly from an IRA to Grayson without being taxed. Such gifts must be direct transfers from your IRA.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Increase your gift to The Grayson School by having your employer match your donation. Check to see if The Grayson School qualifies for matching funds from your workplace.
Foundations and Donor-Advised Funds
If you are affiliated with a foundation or have a donor-advised fund, please consider directing its support to The Grayson School.
